Farm Safety Day
We are proud and excited to once again be hosting Farm Safety Day. This year we will be hosting the fun filled day at A.J. Baker Public School on June 20th. If you are interested in volunteering to run stations for children, we provide guidance and resources – no experience is required. Please contact Katelyn Sykes at 519-535-9253 if you have any questions would like to volunteer or sponsor the event.
FREE Workshop -No-Dig Vegetable Planting
Mark your calendars for this one!! a FREE workshop, hosted by local organic farm, Lakeside Farms, teaching their no-dig vegetable planting process.
There will be coffee, snacks and so much to learn!! Come dressed for the weather and bring a friend!
No registration required, but carpooling is appreciated as parking is limited.

Learn to Knit
Always wanted to learn how to knit? Come join us for this casual learn to knit workshop. Bring needles and yarn if you have it, but if you don’t, there will be extras to use. This workshop is totally free, open to all ages. We encourage you to support our local Kintore Coffee Shop while you are there.
Do you know how to knit? we would love to have you join us a mentor for those wanting to learn. Bring any extra needles and yarn you don’t mind lending out just for learning purposes at the workshop.
Santa Claus Parade
Join us for the 2024 Santa Claus Parade Dec 2nd 6:30. Starting at Matheson Park and ending at Embro Community Centre. We are excited to once again have a meet and greet with Santa at the community centre following the parade, as well as baked goods and cookies
Spaghetti Dinner
Join us sat. nov. 4, 2023 starting at 5:00 pm for a delicious spaghetti dinner with gourmet toppings. Alcoholic drinks available for purchase. Embro fair prize money will also be available for pick up at the dinner.

Used Book Sale
The Embro Fair is proud to host its first Used Book Sale. Donations can be made all year at the Embro Public Library or at other EZAS events. Follow us on Facebook for more details about book drop off opportunities.
Book Sale will be in the Embro Zorra Community Centre during the Fair, September 16 & 17

Join us at the Embro Fall Fair Sept 16th and 17th . Fun for all ages!!! Purchase tickets online or at the front gates.
Spring Plant Sale
Join us at the Embro Zorra Community Centre for our Spring Plant Sale. All proceeds from the event will go towards to building of our community Pavilion set to begin construction in Fall 2023.
Any plant donations can be brought to the Community Centre Friday evening.

Annual General Meeting
Joins us for the Annual General Meeting at the Embro Legion Jan. 23 @ 7 pm for a catered meal and meeting to follow. Several guest speakers including Joanne Fuller from OFA speaking on Mental Health in Agriculture.

Box Office for Dinner Theatre 2023
Tickets for all Dinner Theatre 2023 dates will be sold at the Embro Community Centre on Dec 10th from 8-11 am.
Tickets will be available afterwards at the Workshop Supply in Embro.
Santa Claus Parade
November 26th at 6:30pm we are excited to present the Santa Claus parade! Starting at Matheson Park and ending at the Embro Community Centre.
New this year we are providing cookies and hot chocolate (one per person, while supplies last) and a meet and greet with Santa in the large hall at the Embro Community Centre afterwards!
EZAS 2024 Meetings
Embro and Zorra Agricultural Society is made up of local community members passionate about rural lifestyle, local business and keeping the spirit of community alive.
We meet on a monthly basis, either in person or virtually, to plan community events and discuss ways to connect our community members with local agriculture, local business and of course, one another.
We are all volunteers and we rely on community members like yourself to keep the EZAS events running. We are open and excited to have new member join us. Reach out via email and we will get you connected for our next meeting date
