2024 Zucchini Races



What is a zucchini race?
Step 1: Get a zucchini (home grown or bought)
Step 2: Decorate it (get creative)
Step 3: Fix some wheels to it (don't forget to check out the axle regulations)
Step 4: Register your zucchini at the Fair in the arena on Sunday Sept. 15th
Step 5: Send your masterpiece zooming down our custom ramp and celebrate your win or humble defeat with your neighbours. Bring your enthusiasm, pit crew and cheering section!
Rules:
1. Only one Zucchini per person
2. Each hot rod must be created from a single zucchini
3. The zucchini must be gravity-powered only.
4. Zucchini car width, including wheels must not exceed 8 inches
5. Zucchini car length, from nose to rear axle not to exceed 16 inches
6. The zucchini hot rods will race down a ramp in heats. Race heats will continue until a winner is declared.
Sunday September 15th ( in the arena) Registration 10:00-10:30 am
Races begin 11:00 am (Arena)
